SWOT Analysis
Strengths
-in our Ossington and Leslieville locations, we can introduce French cuisine to people in that area -we have sponsored some minor league hockey teams in the area, so people who haven't even been to our restaurant see the contribution we give to the community -we have a senior's discount -we will host a food event every year to attract more customers |
Weaknesses
-lack of sales skills -my Ossington and Leslieville locations have many other new restaurants around, and some people may want to stick to a cuisine they are familiar with (ex. Italian) -lack of brand awareness -since we are a new restaurant, we do not have a reputation |
Opportunities
-French cuisine (and also more expensive restaurants) are becoming more popular in Toronto -job opportunities -as the teenagers in the areas grow up, they will be in our target market |
Threats
-one of my locations is in Yorkville, which has many other expensive French restaurants, but our customer base will expand if we offer things other restaurants in the area do not -some of the equipment is expensive, and prices might rise -if competitors see our business doing well, then they might follow |
